A poor girl and a rich boy, who like each other, sign a love contract with expiration date to avoid inconvenience in the future.
Maganda ang kanilang panimula.
Makabuluhan at nakaka-kilig dahil ang “inconvenience” na pinag-uusapan nila ay hindi lamang tungkol sa relasyon, kundi patungkol sa mga problema ng bayan. Hindi nga naman convenient mamuhay sa Pilipinas.
Sa kalagitnaan, hindi na nila tinalakay ang mga nasimulang argumento. Hindi na rin nabanggit ang kanilang pagiging mahirap at mayaman—kahit na ito ang pinagmulan ng kwento. Naging palamuti na lamang ito sa huli.
The problems of the characters are heavy and timely, but they are resolved in just a snap. Confrontations are turned into monologue speeches, instead of having two-way conversations. The ending scene felt forced in order to create a special moment between the lead characters.
The movie is good in highlighting DonBelle as a loveteam. With their feel-good acting, Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan give happy vibes and romance.
Magaling ang buong cast. At kapansin-pansin ang mga gumanap na nanay sa pelikula. Madadala ka sa galit na naipakita nina Matet de Leon at Teresa Loyzaga.
Masayang pakinggan ang mga batuhan ng linya. Maraming pick-up lines na mapupulot. Ngunit minsan ay gusto mo rin silang prumeno at mag-usap sana nang walang halong quotable lines.
Kilig at saya ang hatid ng pelikula.
Hindi sila nabigo sa aspetong iyon.
The price of a movie ticket now is still inconvenient. But the convenience comes upon realizing that the romcom magic is still there and it’s back again on the big screen.
Together with DonBelle, Star Cinema makes a decent comeback.
