BALLAD OF A BLIND MAN

Ballad of a Blind Man (TMFF 2024)

Written & Directed by: Charlie Garcia Vitug

A girl is stuck with a ballad that’s on loop.

Will she cover her ears and use her eyes this time?

At first, the main character is the only one that’s suffering.

Then as an audience, you get to suffer too, not because you feel for the character, but because of the movie’s dry and dragging execution. Even Joel Saracho’s acting excellence couldn’t save it.

The movie’s message is to end the suffering.

Thus, the movie ended.
