Dama de Noche

Directed by: Lawrence Arvin Sibug

An OFW returns home as a dead body inside a casket.

You are the OFW in this film. You are seeing things, but you have no control over them. The camera angle is fixed. There’s no light and color. These elements helped in setting the mood of grief and restlessness.

Janus del Prado shares a a good cry, while Joel Saracho and Star Orjaliza offer a contrasting treatment to the scenes.

The conversations pave way to worsen the situation. They keep on dragging the dead into rock bottom, with a tendency to overkill them.

This film puts a different living experience for the dead, allowing you to see a perspective from the dark. At the same time, losing the chance to shed some light and hope to people.
