Ex-lovers see each other again. Will they rekindle their love, or will they end up as strangers?
Tony Labrusca & JC Alcantara look good together. They can make you smile with their romantic and fun moments. But not enough to make you feel their love for one another. The emotions are not as deep as it should be, leaving you uninvested with their relationship.
The capacity of Patrick Quiroz as an actor is promising. He was able to express his sorrow and dismay when needed. Gillian Vicencio has elegance in acting, but that quality disrupts her from fully releasing her emotions on certain breakdown scenes. Vivoree Esclito and Miguel Almendras both displayed an average yet safe performance. Meanne Espinosa serves as a ray of sunshine, complementing the vibrancy of the cinematography.
The visuals are full of life, but the storytelling feels otherwise. There’s dullness and apathy surrounding the movie. Even the product placements lack creativity.
Matamlay ang takbo ng pelikula.
Napuno ito ng usapan na kulang sa bigat. May mga hugot, pero hindi tumatagos. May kilig, pero hindi ito nakatulong para mas makilala mo ang mga karakter.
May mabibigat na paksa, ngunit hindi ito napagtuunan nang pansin. Dinaanan lang nila ito nang mabilisan. Gaano ba kabilis umamin sa isang bagay na matagal mo nang itinatago sa iyong mga kaibigan at sa pamilya?
This movie didn’t give justice to pivotal and life-changing moments, treating it with less empathy and understanding. The confrontations felt unsettling, because they didn’t establish a safe space before tackling a sensitive topic.
They tend to handle things loosely, providing little support for Tony and JC’s journey as individuals and as a couple.
Hindi nila naibahagi ang sabik ng kanilang pagmamahalan. Hindi nila naipadama ang lungkot nung sila’y nagkahiwalay. Parati silang nagkukulitan sa pagitan ng kanilang mga away. Wala kang inaabangan sa kanilang pagbabalikan, dahil parang hindi naman sila nagkahiwalay.
Hindi sila nabigyan ng magandang istorya para subaybayan mo ang kanilang paglalakbay.
