Existential crisis, grief, and jealousy are some topics this play discussed. The dialogues are filled with flowery words that can be removed or replaced. Their choice of words can sometimes be disrupting, as they are not conversational.
Nonetheless, whenever they share a statement, it’ll make you wonder. Whenever they raise a question, it’ll leave you with more thoughts to ponder.
The sound design helped in voicing out these thoughts. The lights blended well with the different moods this play has. The stage set-up allows the actors to move freely yet still with restraint.
Kung ano ang tumatakbo sa isip mo
ay nabibigyan nila ng karampatang galaw.
Maliban sa kanilang kilos, magaling din umarte ang karamihan sa mga aktor. Nailalarawan ng kanilang mukha ang nararapat na emosyon sa mga eksena.
The ending should have been a culmination of overwhelming thoughts, but it didn’t get there. There’s no unifying message. They keep on bombarbing us with varied energies that weren’t contained well. Walang banlaw na nangyari sa sumasabog mong utak.
Makakatulog ka ba
kapag patong patong na ang iyong iniisip?
Hatinggabi na… Bakit gising ka pa?
