Linya (Vivamax 2024)
Written & Directed by: Carlo Alvarez
“𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘨-𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯 𝘮𝘰 𝘯𝘢 𝘢𝘬𝘰?”
- tanong ng lalaki dun sa babae
For some, sex is just a body count. But it’s a different story in this Vivamax movie. It’s clever how the question was answered by two people with opposing personalities and life experiences. What you perceive as fun can be detrimental to others. So next time you throw a line to a person, be cautious.
This scene is a pivotal moment in the story, turning a regular Vivamax movie into something more. The ending is disheartening yet alarming. Instead of putting an end to a red line, it created a loop.
Disenteng umarte sina Cess Garcia at Anthony Dabao.
Being a friend to the lead, Sheila Snow was believable. Being villains, Chester Grecia and VJ Vera are not effective. You should be scared with what they’re doing, but you’re just getting irritated with their lack of authority over their roles.
Majority of the characters are baristas. Although there are scenes that you see them working, it’s not enough to establish their working environment. The sex scenes are mediocre. The sound design needs improvement.
