In this coming-of-age Vivamax story, we follow the journey of Victor Relosa who has a crush on Aiko Garcia. The ending could’ve been sweet and inspiring, but the journey leading to that ending is insufficient and misleading.
The influx of sex scenes overpowers the real story and true motives behind each character.
Sana nagkaroon ng pagkakataon na ipakilala kung sino ang karakter ni Victor at kung bakit ganun kalaki ang epekto nung babae sa kanya.
Sana naglaan ng oras upang intindihin kung bakit maharot ang isang maharot. Maliban sa pagiging makati at malibog, meron pang ibang dahilan—ngunit bigo silang ibahagi ito.
Having the title “Maharot”, the movie had the opportunity to break some stereotypes and stigma but it failed. They wanted to make an inspiring story out of it—even if there’s not enough redeeming qualities established for both characters.
Kung hindi puro harot ang buong pelikula,
baka mas naging maganda ang huling eksena.
