It has a good start.
And an explosive satisfying ending.
Maganda ang script at ang kwento. Buo siya. May direction sila na gustong puntahan. At nakarating sila dun nang maayos. With flying colors.
Iza Calzado’s face says it all. Ramdam mo yung nuances na ginagawa nya. Those little details had the biggest impact.
There are some ‘could have been better’ moments. Some if’s and why’s. Especially with their dance Pandanggo. But all the other major elements are shown with full conviction.
When a movie has moved you to greater heights of meaningful emotions,
that‘s when you know it’s really good.
And this movie is that good.
