A man has powers

and his name is Penduko.

For a fantasy adventure film, the production design lacks life and color. It fails to represent a new dimension that would dive us into their world.

The costumes are underwhelming. The color grading and the cinematography are bland. The scoring and sound design are weak. The soundtrack is catchy but it wasn't utilized well. The flow of the story is hasty and anti-climactic. Scenes are insufficient to show the challenges, trainings, and triumphs encountered by the main character. There’s no journey worthy to be followed.

Majority of the casts are not believable, whereas Albert Martinez and John Arcilla gave dedicated performances, proving they’re both veteran actors.

The fight scenes are well-choreographed, showing tension between characters. The story has potential. There are different levels of difficulty being shown. The plot widens whenever the movie progresses.

Maganda sana ang kwento nitong Penduko.

Pero hindi nakaka-enganyo

at hindi maganda ang pagkakakwento.

Kulang sa buhay at sa puso.
