Dalawang magkaibigan ang nag-aaway dahil sa politika. Susubukan nilang patawarin ang isa’t isa sa hapunan na ito. Can you eat your own words to keep the friendship?
This theater play exceeded expectations for all the right reasons.
We only asked for a dinner. What we get is a feast.
And 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘋𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳 doesn’t need to apologize for it.
The flow is smooth and gripping; it didn’t let go of its audience—not even for a second. The discussions are engaging and authentic; it’s hard not to butt in whenever they raise a question or even just a comment.
The lights and sounds represent the changing moods of the characters. The background clips and animations capture the important details in every timeline. The theater actors serve as the main course of this dinner.
Frances Makil-Ignacio is a geniune storyteller; her facial expressions are relatable. Stella Cañete-Mendoza gives a classy and sassy performance. Randy Medel Villarama’s portrayal is effectively triggering. The acting of Nelsito Gomez, Jojo Cayabyab and Mica Pineda added dynamics to the scenes. Phi Palmos brought the house down; her every line demands a reaction.
This 1.5-hour show summarizes all our stress and emotions in the past 7 years. It’s liberating to talk about the elephant in the room. It’s satisfying to see how they managed to transform hurtful conversations into meaningful interactions.
This is a bomb turned into a gift. Best present that you can give yourself is humility, wisdom, and kindness.
Best treat you can offer yourself is
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘋𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳.
