A painter hires an assistant to help him create murals for a classy restaurant.

𝘙𝘌𝘋 is a 90-minute play with no intervals. No time to rest for the two actors. They stayed in character from start to finish. Even before and after the show, you can feel their presence inside the theater. Bart Guingona being good is already expected. But JC Santos going head-to-head with him is something to watch out for.

Seeing them literally paint a canvass in color RED is refreshing. The paint drips. The lights dim. The cigarette smells. The music fills the room. You are with them.

The dialogues are in English. It would be nice to hear them talk in Tagalog. It would be great to edit some of their lines to fit the current events in the Philippines. Nonetheless, the script tackles a timeless subject matter on life principles, ego, and respect.

𝘙𝘌𝘋 takes you to different colors of emotions—from love to death to sunrise. After watching the play, palettes and horizons will expand.
