Relaks, It’s Just Pag-ibig (2014)
Directed by: Antoinette Jadaone & Irene Emma Villamor
A homeschooled girl wants to find the owner of a lost love letter. She invites a teenaged boy whom she just met. Having no background with one another, they both decided to cross a different region, searching for answers about the letter and about love.
From its main plot alone, you can already sense some absurdities and complications — which you hope they could justify by the end. Instead of giving answers, they keep raising questions.
A lot whys and hows keep popping your mind.
Bakit nangyayari yun?
Relaks, it’s just pag-ibig.
This movie intends to share a depiction of teenage hearts and the weird impulse that goes with it. They expect you to go with the flow and be carefree, but all they did was to be careless. What remains are inexcusable plotholes and illogical turns.
The weirdness of this movie has evolved into its ultimate form that‘s incomparable to love.
So weird, you can’t just relax.
