SAGRADA LUNA

Sagrada Luna / The Virgin Sisters (2024)

Directed by: JR Olinares

The first scene in this movie is a sex scene disguised as a religious ritual performed under a sacred moon.

Semi-topless Jeffrey Santos aka 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗮 is being surrounded by girls in their white see-through outfits. These girls are referred to as Virgin Sisters. Familiar faces from Vivamax are now flaunting their bodies on a bigger screen in Philippine cinemas nationwide.

You won’t get lost in the scenes because there’s a subtitle that would say 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘵.

The Virgin Sisters are teasing each other saying 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘱 𝘣𝘢 𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘢𝘭 𝘮𝘰. Supremo Papa chants 𝘚𝘢 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘮𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘺-𝘢𝘳𝘪, 𝘭𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘺𝘢. Indeed, he is mocking religion by saying random verses from a bible that he also wrote. Typhoons, earthquakes, volcano eruptions and other natural disasters can only be saved by Supremo Papa.

The soundtrack is catchy and it is being played whenever the masked rider girls are coming. The voice over acting is laughable, and the fight scenes are not convincing.

Ang tawag sa tribo nila ay “Eunuchs” na katunog ng inutil. Kapag babae ka, dapat virgin ka. Kapag lalaki ka, kailangan kang putulan ng ari.

This movie is a parody—without them knowing it. And with the influx of sexy girls, it’s already an adult entertainment club.

From the Director of 𝘓𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘴 and 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘶𝘺 𝘉𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘘𝘶𝘦𝘦𝘯 which both received a negative rating, here comes another movie that makes no difference.

Written by Ping Medina, 𝘚𝘢𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘢 𝘓𝘶𝘯𝘢 feels like a lewd downgraded crossover of Vivamax and Midsommar. Once the main plot is revealed, the movie is barely progressing. The ending made for Supremo Papa was unsatisfying. The story gave no justice to the Virgin Sisters who went naked for nothing.
