- The scenes are well-timed, well-synced and well-directed. The title is utilized in more ways than one. The characters didn’t only speak but also make some actions. And that’s how this film ended up being more than just a voice. Read full here.
3️⃣ Ang Halikan Sa Water Fountain (Clyde Cuizon Gamale)
- Nakakaloka dahil para siyang foreplay bago umabot sa climax. Hindi nawawala ang tensyon sa paggitan ng dalawang karakter. May pananabik. May lagkit. May something! Read full here.
4️⃣ Beneath The Firefly Veil (Juvy Ann Clarito)
- Lacking tension among the characters, this film may not be that satisfying but it’s thought-provoking. Nangungusap ang mga mata ni Juvy Ann Clarito. Ang kadiliman at kasamaan ay hinaluan ng kahiwagaan. The usage of myth to overcome some real-life challenges seems to be advantageous for this film.
5️⃣ Last Shift Na Ni Jaguar (Josam Dalman)
- The acting is unnatural, yet the scenes has its tenderness. Yung plottwist ang nagdala sa buong pelikula. Kulang pa sa laman ang istorya, pero may konting kirot sa nangyaring last shift.
6️⃣ Arapaap (Zeus Batondo)
- The ending is shocking. It’s carefree but it’s also careless. Nakakagulat dahil lumipad sa alapaap ang istorya. Nakakatakot dahil baka kung saan ito mapadpad. Kailangan ng pag-iingat para hindi ito mapunta sa panganib at kawalan.
7️⃣ Sa Dulo Ng Linya (Gian Arre)
- Okay sana ang istorya, pero hindi nakakadala ang mga eksena. Sa likod ng mga linya ay ang kapos na mga emosyon.
8️⃣ High Tide or Low Tide (Gio Franco Alpuente)
- The main character is saying a lot of things which doesn’t translate well in the scenes. High on word count. Low on giving a compelling direction.
9️⃣ My Dog Knows All My Secrets (Vynce Genica Ong)
- This film failed to share a story and succeeded in keeping it as a secret.
